I dunno what's worse: Riding my solid-wheeled V-Rod or driving my Jeep! My Jeep feels like it has a sail attached today.

Had to ride tucked most of the way, wind was a little noticeable but not bad at all... Probly ride tucked in on the way home too, getting a bit chilly!

I was just ready to put on my gear when I overheard the news guy mention "these wind gusts are like tropical storm strength" and I decided it wasn't worth it.

Even though my commute is only 8 miles and weather felt gorgeous (out of the wind) Jones Rd is a challenging drive as it is and I don't need to dodge flying branches and cans, bags, all all sorts of things on top of the regular cars. Was fun to run over all the stuff in the truck though.

My bike's tall and catches the wind even though it's a naked bike. I'll pass and take the truck.

After Reading Patricias comment, chunks of hard Styrofoam are noticeable when doing 70mph... I-45S after 610 loop (50 miles commute and 50 back. All geared up for the just in case or the inevitable "OH F#$K".)

Well, for the ones who rode, you better be very careful. The steady wind is easier to deal with than the strong gusts that catch you by surprise.

Forecasters warn of of high winds, fire danger
High winds are lashing the Houston area today and the National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory until 6 p.m. ....
