the plastic on the nissans is a big help if you drive through brush and stuff a lot... makes them a lot more impervious to occasional door dings (or kids with bikes etc).
The nissans are the best looking too... chicks dig em! Lots of aftermarket support for all kinds of accessories.

resale on a taco is the same as a new frontier I've been shopping them both lately myself.

and gas mileage is about the same. sport trac is gonna be lower on both (but thats probably why you are looking at them its gonna be cheaper for a newer sport trac).

I have had 3 Tacomas...so you know what I like...
First one was a 4wd
Next one was a 2wd, Supercharged V6, Air Bag suspension yada yada...kick truck and I miss her dearly.
and the current one is a 2wd, I4 base model with some modifications.

You cannot stop a Toyota truck...

Bwahahahaha! That's effin' awesome! I doubt they build 'em like that anymore. 70's diesel have no real 'lectronics.

But man, I wish we could get small trucks with a diesel today.

did you know that nissan entered negotiations with navistar to purchase the twin turbo diesel v6 they built for the f150 (but then was later nixed by ford) to go into the titan?

its like 280 hp 398 ft lbs or something like that and supposed to rev higher than normal diesels.
all I can say is yes please.
