You can still go to the rally, you'll love it...cruising down the strand with no helmet on is actually acceptable

wow, are all of you guys bragging about carrying guns down there really that stupid?

something tells me that if you feel the need to brag about carrying a gun you probably shouldn't be allowed to own one. I'm really hoping that this "I'll bring my 9" "Then I'll bring my .40" "I'll bring my 50BMG" escalation stuff is just sarcastic humor...

I will not go to rallys, so no need to brag about taking my gun...
and since I carry all the time, everywhere I go.. again there would be no need to brag about taking my gun if I went ... it should just be assumed that if I am there, so is my gun....why brag about what should be common practice?

No they prolly wont mess with you, but it is possible to get caught in the cross fire and I think this is the purpose of this thread...to give us a heads up and to be careful when we go and try to enjoy ourselves.

But you don't have to get a CWL to carry a rolex in your pocket. I think he means we should be able to strap on a pistol like we put on a Stetson.

Reading your post it doesn't look like I'm the one sounding dumb.

I ask for clarification and you simply further muddy the waters. You say the CoC IS the Bandidos in one sentence, an in the next say it's for independents and is concerned primarily with fighting for the rights of motorcyclists everywhere. Which is it? What is the exact relationship between the Bandidos and the CoC? One of my older friends was the s.a. Chapter sec/treas of the Bandidos for a long time and I know they weren't concerned with fighting for bikers' rights beyond their own. They care about themselves and their own well being. And I'm not knocking them - I've drunk lots of beer with them here in kerrville.

I wish fighting was more accepted instead of shooting, everyones scared to lose a fight these days, they always wanna start shooting. Guns should only be for defense not confrontation.

Well if you get one too I'm going to have to do some more math to adjust the percentage.
