lol, like I said, I really don't know about the CoC. It would make sense though for the Bandidos to run the CoC if they were going to be a part of it at all. I don't know much about the Bandidos either but I know two of them personally and they don't strike me as the sort who would have their organization be subservient to some other group - unless they ran the other group, too.

Maybe cops will focus on them and not pull us (sportbike) riders over.

I call on all MotoHouston members to go down to G-town and kick over Harleys.

We must protect this house!

I couldn't quit watching the cop that pranced around in the middle of the street the whole time. He looked like a total dip .

hmm... my neighbor is SJHR. I've asked about them before but got the impression that they were more of a riding club or some such rather than a hardcore MC. Never even seen him wearing colors or anything of that nature. I really wouldn't have known if he hadn't shown me his old Harley that he had done up with club logos and such.

Yup....they sure don't like our kind around those parts...

Last year going down the strand a friend got a ticket for expired sticker that was current

Cop hassled him because he thought he was revving bike, but it was guy in front of him...

But I guess it's valid for the officer to be upset of thenoise, since all. Those cruisers are so quite.

main reason I dont go besides the thousands of RUBs, I never understood the mindset of going through the strand pegging the rev limiter, it just doesnt compute to me, but oh well, I dont have to hear it from where I live.

There is an article on Yahoo today that reads:

CAFFEINE FOR BIKERS

Tensions boiled over in January 2010, when members of the rival gangs, some wielding ball-peen hammers, fought outside a Santa Cruz Starbucks before scattering as police arrived.

"It was all about who would be allowed to hang out at the Starbucks downtown," Santa Cruz Deputy Police Chief Steve Clark said. "The Vagos brazenly came in and tried to cement their presence. It was a pretty strong play on their part to establish themselves as the premiere club."

He added: "Only in Santa Cruz would you have biker wars over who's going to control pumpkin spice lattes."
