dont' park it so close to the driveway, they have to be able to carry it to a truck, if you park it under a covered spot, it's very easy to take it, also, if you are gonna leave the apartment, bring it in if possible, get some cardbox to cover the carpet.. you could park it along a pathway between apartments, close to your door, and chain the down, they'll have to break the chain where the bike's at before they can try to lift or move it.

check for trucks/cars following you when you pull in to your apartment, anything suspicious, flip around and come back a minute later.. it don't hurt to be cautious.. and last, don't let people know you park outside bro..

low jack no chain will tell the cops where your bike is at and you should get a discount on your insurance for having installed.

Well i have friends with garages but since this is a college town, they always have big parties...so F that.

Oh well, looks like i'll just leave it at my parent's for now and look for a place with a garage next semester.

I found a place in San Marcos for $32 a month. That's cheaper than paying for a covered parking spot at my apartment.

I store my bike outside pretty much 24/7, I have a EZ-Up over on one side of the driveway I keep it under most of the time, Even keeps the rain off of it. I also usually put the cover on the bike as well so I don't walk out to water on the seat. Only hassles I really have is worrying about the neighborhood kids throwing a basketball at the bike or something.. OR Theft.
