Watching the footage of the race on motogp.com is very sad. Not only do I feel bad for Marco and his family, but also Rossi and Edwards who could do little to nothing to avoid it.

RIP, Marco.

He died doing something that he loved, tragic as it is, we should all be so lucky. I imagine if asked if he would do it again, the answer would be yes.

RIP Marco. I am not really wanting to watch the broadcast on speed at 12. I'd give it all I had and risk what they risk to experience life as these riders do. Sadly, with great reward there is usually great risk and Marco paid the price.

This is two years in a row we've lost riders in mgp. Last year it was Tomizawa in moto2, now Simoncelli. Extremely sad, Simoncelli was an exceptional rider, very sad...

Was really looking forward to seeing him kick some . I thought for sure next season he would be a force to be reckoned with. Looks like he passed out and hung off the right side of the bike causing him to veer over in front of everyone. Wonder if he had an anurism or something. RIP :(

There are no words for this other than horrible. Marco is now with Weldon and Senna at the racetrack in the sky. Peace to his family and friends...
