Multiple riders down hwy 6 near TWS (Texas World Speedway)

Saw 4 riders down on hwy 6 north of hempstead. Big group of black mc club riders, I think multiple mcs including ground pounders. Victory rider "big" with a head laceration, gf with broken leg, others with minor emergencies. Group of 20 or so riders crested a hill. Black car stopped dead after turning into left lane. Riders must have been in a tight pack and ran into each other ripping off a saddlebag on one bike i saw. Driver reportedly either was oblivious to carnage or knew and took off. It appeared she was the fifth one down, tackled in the median a quarter mile up the road. All riders will be ok. Paramedics arrived as we left.

Thats how the situation was relayed to me by an eyewitness biker in the group. I saw three people tending to a woman in the median, black suv on the side of the road. I asked if it was another biker, was told, "no that was the woman that ran, they got her".

tackled? They physically accosted her? Hope that's not the case really. Doesn't sound like the driver intentionally caused the accident, nor would have been responsible for it. Sucks though - thoughts and prayers to all involved. Especially any of them that caused injury to the driver of the car as they will probably get charged with assault.

Remind me again how the car driver was at-fault? Did any of the bikes hit the car?

You dont have to hit the car for them to be at fault.
Car pulled out in front of me on 25th st in galvez.
I was smokin the tires tryin to avoid him. Moved into
the tracks and washed out, went down. Had a witness. I got paid. Never touched the cage. Got real close tho

I didn't say the car had to be struck to be at-fault, I was just wondering because that would make it more cut-and-dry.

I guess what I put together from the first post is that the car turned in front of the bikes and then stopped in their lane. Is that right? That would sound like the car's fault to me.
