AMSOIL?

Who all here is a distributor? Are there any stores which sell this product? Anyone here on the west side?

Who here uses Amsoil - matter of fact, what are some "popular" oils and lubes? Recommendations?

WTF is a skid call? Is "936" really local? If he is a Local Authorized Independent Dealer does he refer to himself as a L.A.I.D. ? Has he been through Specialized High-Intensity Training?

I've still got an old gallon of Rotella, which I was in fact planning to use for frying chicken

Rats pooie. You mean I'm not the first? I was really looking forward to your input on my next thread about Biker Church.

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

OK so I'm overdue for an oil change; like today - do I use the Rotella like I did for the Katana, from Wally-world, or take the time to find this expensive stuff and support this new sponsor on MH?

I went from Mobil-1 to SHELL Rotella T and did not noticed any difference seems like the upshifts are smoother but perhaps is my imagination. Very good reviews for RotellaT and cheaper than Amsoil and Mobil-1. Don't know what's the appeal with Amsoil. Any oil will be fine as far as you change it every 3,000 miles. For the oil filter I use the Mobil-1 or Purolator.

I was stuck on Mobil1 forever and have continuously been giving "BOB" the oil guy a hard time, even designed a new logo for him
attachmentphp?attachmentid50013&ampstc1&ampd1319637162

but I had never actually used the product
so while I was preparing for my upcoming oil change.
I was at Team Mancuso Powersports SW and saw they carried Amsoil.
I decided in all fairness to Bob to actually give a try.

My bike absolutely "loved" it! and is very happy with the change.

now I am an Amsoil patron...

I can't tell the difference in oil (synth v. regular) until I drain it after a few thousand miles...

and I can't tell the difference between the Repsol, or Amsoil or Mobil 1 synthetics ever.

I just make sure they are JASO-MA certified oils

I always thought AMSOIL was some type of pyrimid scheme...

I ran amsoil in my ranger for 150k with 0 oil changes. Slap a new filter on it and top it off. I never had any problems.
