Ride to Nowhere

Planned on riding to Fayetteville but since I was the only person that showed up I went toward Fayetteville. Out of Sealy took 36 to 949. Followed 949 to Dietrich road. Then it started to get fun. Small road, no traffic (except for one stray cow that was wandering around the road), finally jumped over a fence and let me go by. Took a few roads 46, 52 and 109, definitely off the beaten path. Was fun though and the weather was perfect. These roads were not the high speed roads but moderate speed and lots of turns from 90's to long sweeps. If any of you have time would highly recommend them for a change.

When my wife asks where I went on the ride, I'll usually say something like "I dunno... left, then another left, then right, then another right, straight for while, then down a dirt road (doh!), right, then.... I think another right maybe"

yep, fun little back roads..

We went that way last Hill Country trip.. BW8 and I-10 to RR, then hopped over thru Sealy, 1094 to 949, back up to 109 on those rds, and into Fayetteville...

Good little 55 min ride.... LOL!

why is it that i find myself unable to answer that question?

I try to name roads and they sound something like... went on I10.. to 290.. then to 45.. then hwy 90... and the reply is something like.. "well, I'm glad you had fun"
