My first SV1000S from Motorcycles Unlimited

Hello! Just bought my first SV1000S (6th bike) from BigComfy which was built by Patrick of Motorcycles Unlimited. Owned an SV650S for a year but decided to get one that is more highway friendly. Didn't expect to end up with a sick bike when I bought this baby from BigComfy.

Anyway, hello to everyone and hope to learn more and be able to share some of my moto experience in this forum.

Be safe all!!!

Tsup BigComfy?! Temp is dropping fast here (60F/40F). Only have a few hours of rideable time every day if it's not raining. Enjoying the bike tremendously! Will start some maintenance work that Patrick recommended so she's ready for next spring.

I plan to jet-hot the headers in the winter and maybe make a one-off GP style exhaust. Allen county is bike friendly. We can ride as loud as we want. Although that M4 exhaust sounds sweet also like a Ducati. We'll see...

Oh that's the family bike.

Ever since I had my motorcycle accident (not my fault) that snapped my forearm like a twig, I don't want to take passengers anymore so I bought the next closest thing. She's been heavily modified like my new SV1k. Coincidentally, they have almost the same metalic blue paint. She makes over 500 bhp (450 rwhp). Everything has been maliciously touched except the exterior (hence my signature). I want her to look as stock as possible so I don't end up being harassed to race all the time on the road. Especially with the kids in the back.

Luckily there is a Mustang tuner specialist here that is only 40 min away from where I live. The shop is called Brenspeed. They are always in the top 3 on the NMRA races. Nobody touches her but me and them.

Which is also why my username is GTRonn.

Very nice! Sleepers are best.

Patrick knows a thing or two or three about superchargers...

Like supercharged SV's? I've seen some on youtube. This bike is plenty fast though, and I'm not planning on racing her at all. She can retire and live a simple, happy and relaxed motorcycle life with me.
