Need Ticket Advice ASAP!!!

o.k. I got a speeding ticket 3 months ago and since I already took defensive driving within a year to dismiss one already I couldn't do that again. So I paid like $100 or so and got it defered (basically you can't get a ticket within the same county for 3 months and it gets eliminated) but I was supposed to show up at the court on 11-08 to finalize it and get it dismissed and guess what........ I forgot :BangHead:

Anyways I called the court and the lady said either I have to pay like $200 for the ticket or file an appeal and it goes to district court and she said she doesn't know what happens after that (yeah right).

So I was wondering if anyone else had this experience or does anyone know what happens and what to do after you file an appeal???????

thanks in advance for any advise,

missing your court date = warrant
call a lawyer if you have the cash, he can get you a new court date and get it deffered for a small fee of about $100 bucks and prolly $200 to the court..

the cop writes the ticket and it says your court date on it or you will get something in the mail.. normally a month to amonth and a half after the date of the ticket you are supposed to appear, my lawyer calls them about 2 weeks from that day to schedule a different court date about a month later. the tickets i just went to court for was from an august stop. the cop never shows up and all the things like unsafe lane change, inspection sticker being out on a bike that was 2 months old at that time and that always gets tossed out quick. it always comes down the speeding ticket and its always a probation of some kind which means drive right in that area, bc the probation isnt state wide its is court wide, if you have a 90 day defferal it is only for that area, you can get tickets in other areas and you wont be convicted for the ticket you deffered. (how the kcuf do you spell defferal anyway? - one of those days) anyhow, if you have any questions about that type of stuff let me know i've been through it all when it comes motorvehicles, from being jailed for street racing to parking tickets.
