How much would something similar to this cost in just parts?
Riding a Duc is kind of like, you may get a cramp in your wrist, but you keep on trucking because it feels so good.

People use these on the streets all the time, thats what they're for.Farthest i've rode is from my house off bw8 and wallisville all the way to my friends house off hwy99 and 1093 in Katy. Its not all about going fast on these its all about style.

Here are quick specs for the 50cc.

2006+ models hit 43mph completely stock
2005 and under models hit 37mph stock

A revised intake system and redline is what makes the difference in those 2 top speeds. With mods i use to hit 48ish consistently on mine.Remember that lets say 50mph on this little thing feels more like 70 on a big bike as if you were sitting on the bare frame though. The minimalistic design makes it feel way faster than what your going.

The 150cc swap is SUPER common and there is a huge market to help you get this motor onto your ruckus.Biggest difference is the instant pickup and you'll hit 60mph stock.Again remember that its gonna feel even faster than that.

This isn't a good example to go off from cause the owner of this one didn't wanna spare any expense. You can build a really nice one for lets say $2k.The money will go really far if you know how to spend it.

Here is another one we did for a friend that is more toned down color wise but its a 150cc swap.Hes hit 67 on this one.

Here is a "kit" for $1,300 shipped

Thing is you would still be missing a wheel/exhaust for it.

You can piece one together for little less.

$400ish new crate motor
$100 weld on mount
$150 harness
$100 misc bits like vacuum fuel pump, throttle cable, etc.
$350 custom header & nicee muffler combo
$100 stock wheel/tire

$1,200'ish if you piece it together.

And in case your wondering what speeds you'll achieve, basically 60mph for sure. And 60mph on this bare frame feels WAY faster.I dont even like going 60 on one.
