Car jacker gets smoked

Nice little vid out of KC, MO. It is nice to see an innocent person still living who would have otherwise gotten killed.

I used to live at Central and 6th in KC and I know where this is.

Glad to see the bad guy got what was coming to him.

I beat the sh*t out of a homeless guy once in KC.

He was trying to steal my backpack while I was on my way home from the office one afternoon.

I'm starting to think KC is full of 'dumb' criminals.

I was a victim of identity theft a few years ago (by someone in KC). They ordered like 2K worth of stuff from Sears and a 3K Dell computer ..... they had everything delivered to their home address. Brilliant.

The KC Police detective wasn't much smarter. Here's a summary of that conversation:

Detective Fife: "Well I jus dont no how they woulda got ur soshul security number. You sure u dont know these folks?

Me: "I don't know anyone in or near KC. Plus, I don't give out my Social Security number to anyone."

Detective: "Well can u guess how dey got it?"

Me: "Why don't I leave that up to you since you're the expert."

Detective: "Well aint reely much we can do unless Dale computers or Seers wonts to proseecute"

Me: <Click>

Better yet I got the criminals name from Sears (yes they used their real name) and looked up their phone number (which matched the address they used). Here's how that convo ended:

Me: " ...... so take my advice and stop using my personal info to open credit cards"

Criminal: "You crazy, yo" <click>

They changed their number the next day. No problems with identity theft since.

I had my ID stolen by some folks in Detroit. They also got a Sears card and bought a bunch of stuff. Sears wouldn't tell me their names or address though. They were trying to keep the account current by writing checks in for the minimum payment due each month. But the checks were stolen.
