Need route advice

Wanna take wife 2up on my bike this weekend.... i dont mind going going solo instead of in a group...

i live near 529 and highway 6/1960.

Where should i head towards? -

Please consider that i am not looking for twisties or a lot of curves... looking for a good scenic view as i ride... hills i guess?

may be its non existent in houston - but i thought i would check with you guys to see if there is any place near by that we can go enjoy the ride at...

I dont care for Galveston trips but seems the ladies do. There are no twisties either. 288 to Blue water highway instead of 45 and those two roads are usually pretty scenic especially BWH

Check out Washington-on-the-brazos state park. Its a pretty nice ride out there. Some pretty sights, old houses etc.
Otherwise you could go to Fayetteville and stop there for lunch. Take a look at google maps, its easy enough to plan out a route and most of the scenery is fairly pretty out that way.
