every time something up happens in my life I think to myself "Thank I'm fortunate to not only have a car but also a fast, fairly new, beautiful bike" So if I didn't have my motorcycle, I think I would feel pretty about my life.

I like what Helios said on the first page. I had my bike stolen in June and haven't replaced it with another one, similar to his case. After 4 months now though I've concluded my life kinda sucks without it. I've adjusted and added hobbies as he mentioned, but none of them come close to the experience associated with riding motorcycles.

Sometimes when I'm stressed from work/school/life, there's nothing that produces a quicker remedy to it all than a short bike ride. I've taken opportunities gratefully to ride friend's bikes and even though it's a beyond amazing feeling, it's not quite the same. It has to be your own. There's something about the bond...nice bike or POS, it's yours.

When I see people on bikes it sucks I'll be honest; especially those who cannot ride, abuse it, or take it for granted. For a while after I lost my bike I didn't enjoy going to the meets anymore. I would speak to my biker friends but would decline multiple invitations to hang out. I guess it was too soon and the whole pain of losing such an integral part of my life wouldn't let me enjoy myself. Now though I've come around to spend time with these folks because regardless of bike or not, they are awesome and wonderful people.

Before I lived near 288/610 (on mini route). I live near 59/610 PP1 area now. When I hear the distant sounds of bikes going, especially when I'm studying late evenings, it still makes me pause. Part of me frowns; part of me smiles; all of me is happy though from having had the experience at all. I wouldn't trade having a motorcycle in my life experience for anything.

When I move back to Colorado the bike is going with me...

No bike = spending $ and time fixing up a car. Bikes/ Cars and garage time are what keep me sane.
