I have noticed that you say that it is pointless, but you keep coming back to it.. so it must not be pointless to you...

we should have this conversation over a beer or two, it would make it much more interesting..

you are not fooling us with that hurt feelings talk... come on man, this is a forum, guys talking because they have some time with nothing going on at the office, or on the job... no one really gets or gets their feelings hurt... unless they are having a moron day and attaching some sort of importance to this, or confusing the forum with real life... this is not quite as good as swapping lies over beer, but it will do when having a beer is not possible.

cool! that means no wheelies for anyone, ever. except 5 mph coasters in the lot -or, if you're lucky and have a spot, some long stan-ups. That's great for like 2 out of every 10,000 motorcyclists.

not sure about the numbers you came up with, but could be....
if I do not argue your facts, I would have to ask... what is your point?
is your point if folks obeyed the traffic laws, there would be very few folks doing wheelies? We know that is not going to happen, because if folks obeyed the traffic laws there would be no one killed in traffic by drunk drivers.
It is quite normal for some folks to think that traffic laws are for everyone else but them. It is quite trajic for those self centered folks who think their personal desires are more important than the safety of everyone else. It is quite easy for me to take this view, I was never really a big fan of wheelies anyway... I guess I did my last wheelie in 1968 and i never did one on public roads...we used to do wheelie contests for the spectators between rounds back in my dirt track days at the TT Scramble races, so for me it is no loss...
