i'll be honest, i'll crank a wheelie up on the highway, but most def not with any kinda traffic. apologies in advance if anyone thinks i'm pointing fingers at them, just speaking in general.

When your not expecting this type of behavior, this type of reaction is valid. When your expecting people to ride like this it is another story. People here post rants all the time, cagers ,popos, bikes, loud pipes the list goes on. This is just the latest in a series that will continue. It is interesting to see the reaction though if it is a cager (throw bolts, rocks, ect) or if it is someone on a bike (just let them ride how they want). Either of which could have an effect on your own mortality.

Google it, rider killed on fm 1960... hit an suv that pulled out in front of him as dusk. SuV couldn't see the bike, highlight was pointed into the sky.

It's not about taking out a motorist...why should that be a requirement? Hitting someone else is bad enough, or wiping out in front of someone making them choose between a panic stop or running em over.

It's an issue of one person's 'business' intruding into the well-being/health of anothers. When your 'business' puts myne at risk, it becomes my 'business'.

Even if ONE could be found I'd bet it would only be that - like one or two cases.

Not saying highway wheelieing is a good thing I just think the argument that it's dangerous to other road users is a little suspect.

well, there is this one young dude in our neighborhood who was always practicing his wheelies up and down the street and then one day I noticed I didnt hear him anymore and then I found out he looped it on the next block over and nearly hit some fans of his(bunch of 8-10 yr olds) He did managed to repaint a car with his bike paint. but ya I hear ya......

just sayin

Antics like this are the reason laws like HB 2470 almost get passed. Go ahead and ride however you want to ride, but if I'm in a cage and you go down in front of me because you're acting like a fool on a bike, I can promise you I won't endanger myself trying not to run over your .

awwww, come the on.

After reading the links it's sad. First one was no injury to other motorists.

Second one was in India.

Third one was no injury - or accident - with other motorists.

Keep 'em coming, I guess.
