A note for the moron riding on 288 yesterday

You were on hwy 288 north at about 6:15 pm, you passed me at 70mph + with your front tire pointed towards the sky. You sir are an idiot. The highway isnt the place for that, people like you give motorcycle riders a bad name. Had you crashed and burned, i cant say that i would have felt sorry for you. Oh yea, you were wearing shorts too!

mebbe cause its a proven fact the odds are he is gonna crash at one time or another, sadly, crashes are usually not a controlled thing and usually involves others minding their own business and not breaking the law.
thats the nice way of putting thats its fkng retarded and dangerous to others, but what do you care right? those people in their cars using the streets like they are supposed to be, bastards the lot of 'em.

not condoning his actions but I am always interested by the argument that they're going to take out some innocent motorist - and I always ask for some evidence/statistic on someone's wheelie causing a car driver to have an accident or be involved in an accident - and I never get it. Even if ONE could be found I'd bet it would only be that - like one or two cases.

Not saying highway wheelieing is a good thing I just think the argument that it's dangerous to other road users is a little suspect.

where is the place for wheelies? take it to the track is a very wrong answer nowadays since none of the trackdays allow it. , even the races are starting to "police" it more and more.

speeding down the freeway at 100+mph, riding double the speed limit through the forest or any other backroads, and weaving in and out of traffic is just as bad as crankin up a wheelie... i think that anyone that agrees with the OP, and the OP him/her self should do a self inventory before casting any stones.

i'll be honest, i'll crank a wheelie up on the highway, but most def not with any kinda traffic. apologies in advance if anyone thinks i'm pointing fingers at them, just speaking in general.

I think everyone should be allowed to ride however they want provided they have a sticker visible that says they have their own insurance. That way when you fall I don't have to worry about covering you.

stunting and racing do not belong on public steets.
the freedom we have in this country is there, but it is not something you can claim you are using when you do this kind of stuff, you can do what ever you want on private property, but to do this kind of stuff on public roads is not an exercise of your rights, it is a violation of the rights of the public...
this kind of does not warrant repect, it does warrant ridicule, for the stupid it is...
