Remember a group of really good engineers decided what type of tire should go on each bike. I would talk to the guys at Motorcycles Unlimited before doing something like that. It is funny how much people will pay for a motorcycle, but undermind there investment with cheap tires and pushing oil changes and maintenance.

Same thing could be said for shocks, forks, lights, chain/sprocket etc....

Without questioning, experimentation....where would we be?
