ive spent 15 hours in a hospital for x-rays and pain killer wen i seperated my shoulder in July.

i also dont agree with nurses or people in the medical profession thinking that way about bikers. keep inserting your foot in your mouth.

also, did you teach your bro how to ride? sounds like he was riding above his limit and could have used some of those MSF tips.

glad he is doing ok. i got the same bike and i just streetfightered it so if he needs any of those parts let me know i got many!!! mine is an 05, i bought it new in june though so all the parts i took off are in good shape. other than a couple of little scratches from a 10 mph lay over. and as far as the hospital, if you read my into forum last month you would know i have a bad motocross wreck, i showed up to the sugarland er coming from the needville motocross track in an ambulance, couldnt feel nor move my legs and my collar bone was chilling out up by my ear and they still took 4 hours to get a doctor to me. no pain meds, just a nurse saying that it looked like a grade 3 separated shoulder and they will be with me as soon as they can to xray my back????? wtf??? it turned to to have dislocated 2 vertabrea (sp?) and after 2 days i could limp and a week i was walking a month i was good to go except my shoulder. which is still messed up.

ALso.. DOn't start dis'ing my brother cause he wrecked. The thing about motorcycles is.. It is not IF you wreck, it's WHEN you wreck. It just happens even if you are the most careful rider in the freakin world. Now this time he wasnt being TOO careful. But he was NOT going beyond his potential as a rider and just being stupid. ANd yes he was taught by me (riding for 6 years) my dad (31 years) and the professional staff at the MSF course. So, he knows what to do and not to do and when not to be stupid. and going over and overpass with traffic is not a time to act stupid. He handled his situation perfect. He knew WHERE to hit, WHEN to fall, WHERE to fall ( so he didnt get hit by 10 cars), and HOW to release his bike so that noone else would have been injured on the road. I am very proud of him.

if you wanna think like that, they your awaiting your next accident........

and i think all of his "placement and hitting where he wanted too" was all about LUCK, no more, no less. he got lucky. or did ya'll teach him that stuff as well.

he got lucky, learn from it.

luck is correct, but luck can only get you so far in my book. In my opinion, ther is a difference between keeping your cool in a abd situation, and freaking out in the same. They will both give you two totally different outcomes.. that is all I am saying.
