In need of a chain rivet press

Hey I ordered a new chain and sprocket set that should be in tomorrow. Looking to borrow a tool to put a riveted masterlink in the chain. PM me if you will lend me one.. Im in galleria area. Thanks guys.

For at home you could use medium pair of vice grips to get the link started then use a 7mm wrench box end over hole in the link with the vice grips to let the other ends come through. Then use a ball bearing or prehaps a BB and a larger pair of vice grips to spread open the rivet. This works well if you cannot get your hands on the tool.

I could also get a ballpien hammer but... Id feel better using a tool...

I appreciate the advice... I dont doubt your way is safe and effective it was more the necessity of 4 to 5 tools and objects to complete the task. Wasnt trying to come off rude.

duct tape and zip tie would hold anything, if you dont believe me just ask r6gal
