I just started working on mine 2 weeks ago. but i've gotten alot done. this is the place to go

or even the uk version of it
streetfighterstore.uk

pm me if you need any help. I have had alot of fun doing mine. I still plan on getting a belly pan for it and a new end they got several on the streetfighterstore site that i like. for the headlights and mirrors just visit the yamaha shop and tell them to crack open the catalogs. they can get them in a couple days. (acerbis Cyclops is my fav. street legal headlights) the ones on my bike are not DOT SEA approved.

what makes a good street fighter is adapting stuff from other bikes, cars, or even other stuff completely.

no you dont have to use the risers but it will look cooler.

the point of street fighter... well it started in UK lots of salvage title bikes cause of handle bars and front fairings headlights etc but they rode great so punters started riding the just with driving lights and adapted bars and whatever they had.
turned into a style and a lot of guys do it mostly for looks... but it lightens up the front end, makes it easier to get the tire in the air... etc.

That front light cover is sick. Like really sick.
