Little ninja

Sup guys, just an odd question... This is my first year riding and I want to attend the lone star rally next month. My vstar is being used by my dad and all I'll be able to ride to the event is my ninja250... Lol is that acceptable or will I be laughed out of Galveston? I only ask because obviously I have no experience in bike events. Anyone with ideas let me know what's up, also are there any MH groups riding down there?

the guys who would laugh at your ninja, would also laugh at your Vstar, so forget them and do what you like for your own enjoyment, you are not there for them anyway...
I quit doing rallies years ago, I am so old that my sense of humor has shortened and I seem to be an magnet....not a good combination...

You will be laughed at. I have been working that rally since it started and its mostly a gathering of bikers and not motorcyclists. Very few serious riders would go there willingly but go, look, laugh at the morons and go home.

Thanks for the info, I think I will probably go after I figure out which group from MH I will go with, if for nothing else just to see what all the fuss is about.

The only people worth laughing at are the ones who drive their cage down there and then put on a some motorcycle gear to make it look like they rode.

Its a big event. There are a lot of stupid people and a lot of cool people.

If I were you, I would cage it and be cautious with the drunks/cops that this event attracts. It's fun and worth attending to see all the interesting bikes and characters. There are a few sport bikes there but mostly stretched/club riders. Personally, I like the bikes that are custom/built/one-off....there aren't that many compared to cruisers/harleys but there are enough to make it an interesting event.

Save room for a funnel cake
