Exactly. What we DO know, is that some punk keyed his up, and the guy was dumb enough to come on here and brag about it. If someone was running around bragging about damaging my property, I know I'd sure appreciate someone telling me if they knew. Why not do the same for Jeep brah?

Well Jeep owner knew someone moved OP's bike so he more than likely did it. Yes, OP should have done what our grandfather's supposedly would have done and punched the dude's two front teeth out and then spit a wad of red man on his face while Jeep owner was out but then he'd get 2-5 for assault & attempted murder (smokeless tobacco kills).

So now Jeep owner is likely going to get his Jeep fixed and his bltch act of moving the bike is all good thanks to a couple keyboard ninjas 4 states away. OP did seem like douche though with his topless facebook pics.

I don't like narcs.

But I see a narc as someone who gives info to the cops in cases where not all involved are party to a crime. You shouldn't go telling on a drug dealer in order to save your own from prosecution or rid yourself of some competition. If you're giving up info against someone for personal gain then you're a narc.

When someone commits a crime against an innocent third party I say it's fair game to give them up to the police - and that's what's happening here.

snitches should get stitches only when they're giving somebody up who doesn't have an innocent victim.

Jeep owner works at the same place as OP does, and OP regularly parks in that same spot, near the store front. I think it's safe to assume that Jeep owner has seen him park there several times and knows. It's still pretty likely that he did it, but that's all speculation. , Jeep owner could have been talking about later when OP moved his bike to by the dumpster after keying the jeep.

Either way, OP would have been just as wrong for hitting the guy. If he caught him in the act, sure. Assume he's trying to steal it and level him. If OP would have just confronted the guy and asked about, let him know how not cool it is, he probably would have gotten an aplogy out of him and things would have went on without any further problems. If the guy got confrontational, then he probably could have layed him out then too.

Even if his Jeep gets fixed, I'm sure he's learned (if he didn't already know) not to mess with people's bikes. No on wants to deal with the hassel of getting their cars fixed, even if some other chump is paying for it.
