If you want to come out to Sealy I'd be glad to show you some nice roads, at a nice street pace, and some good food (in fayetteville).

Yes, yes I do...and cruise control, and a big cushy comfortable seat, and saddlebags, and a barn door sized windshield... , it even has a cigarette lighter! (Yes, you can light one up at 80 and I have many times)

I really like -1 +2 on the GSX-R750.

But if you're talking about running up above 175 then that's probably too much gear. , it's definitely too much.

You actually probably want less gear - maybe -2 in the back - and more power. With very few other mods you can put a dry shot on that bike, lose some gear and pick up some top end.

The bike? No. The wife? Yes.

Although, I suppose if i put the waffles in some tin foil and stuffed em behind the rear cylinder, they'd be cooked by the time i had to fill up...

You are very close to RR, join our SMR and we will be happy to give you some pointers, leave your ego at home and do not try to keep up, do it at your own pace and have someone follow you to see what you need to work on!
