If you can't keep up on your 750 one of two things is happening:

1. you can't actually ride

2. you're going so f'in fast in a straight line that its criminal. Literally, criminal.

My suggestion is to invest in some trackdays to improve your cornering skill or begin to ride roads with real turns. Although those types of roads are quite difficult to find near Houston.

My 1050 Speed Triple still intimidates me after 7K miles. I had no problem with the 600 sport bikes and sometimes think I should have stayed in that size.

It is the fun factor. I had more fun on a bike that was just as capable but more flickable. Consider that more than the engine size.

po-po 5 is right, the skill makes the difference. I can't hold a candle to many of you on your 'little' bikes.

I gave up trying to find them, and only ride track anymore. So to answer your question: I have no idea where roads like that are.

And if you can afford a new bike.....................you can afford the track.

Unless you're riding at insanely illegal (and dangerous) speeds, there is no reason your 750 cannot keep up with a liter bike on the street.

- I can keep up with a liter bike on the streets...
