If you get a big enough group...don't all go at the same time...groups of 3 or 4 at a time...each with a cam pointing at your speedometor.

I'll come with a Go pro mounted on my tank. The video will have the bike speed spelled out right there for any retarded cops who can't seem to read their radar guns correctly.

Dont see how it would be illegal for recording since we are just recording a ride... That isnt illegal and i bet if we were spedding and such they would use our on video to use against us so why would it be illegal

Agreed, the guy's a and his statement that they don't like bikers is just plain stupid, but unfortunately, in Texas, it's legal.
Not true. Probable cause is required for any traffic stop, regardless of the vehicle.

License plate light out is probably cause. It's weak, it's chump PC, but it is what it is.

Yea, I've been pulled over once by them before. Which officer was it? What did he look like?

As for recording stops...

It is correct that it's legal in Texas. It's not legal in every state, but in Texas, it's legal so long as at least one of the parties being recorded is aware. So you could record yourself and a cop, a cop can record you, you can record yourself and your spouse, a cop can record themselves making a drug sting, but the government cannot record you and your spouse by yourselves (without a warrant, that is).

As I was reading through the previous pages, I was going to suggest you record the stops.

Yea, I was that LEAD guy. I never went over 40, even though speed limit is 35. He said the only reason why he didn't ticket any of us for speeding was that it was because we all stopped. He said if we had all taken off he would have gotten one or two of us and that those were the ones that would've been in hot water....
