Versys 1000?

http://hellforleathermagazine.com/20...i-versys-1000/

It is probably behind a paywall now, but it is the versys with an updated frame and the z1000 motor dropped in.

Not my cup of tea, but the bike looks pretty versatile. I wouldn't mind riding it

The Versys was on my short list for just that reason when I was still deciding between a two bike option of an "everyday" bike plus a 74x or the one bike option of the new Multi 1200. I ended up riding the Multistrada home.

Did I miss something? Last time I checked they don't make a supercharged sportbike.

I think you mean a turbocharged zx6. But that was the magazine that started that rumor

Humm, proven Japanese reliability and a great dealer network. More of a practical mans bike I would think.

With that motor it will compete against the multistrada. It looks geared for fast and comfortable touring, not go anywhere exploration.
