my office is on 11th street betwee T.C. Jester and Hempstead highway, the Houston police have two areas they like to use as revenue generators...
one is on T.C. Jester just north of I-10 at the base of the overpass where T.C. Jester goes over the old railroad tracks... the speed limit there is 35 and unless you are really paying attention you can easily hit 40+ going over the overpass on the down side... the police like to set up traps there and write a bunch of tickets in a short time... there is no safety issue and most folks are not really speeding thru that area, but on the down slope they can hit 40 before they put their brakes on and the cops write them up... so when I see that going on, I warn the folks approaching the overpass as I am leaving...
the other area is on hempstead highway, at a railroad underpass.. the same scenario.. I warn there too... when it is not about safety but money.. it is wrong... so I do give a heads up...
but if someone is doing wheelies at triple figures and I know they are coming up on a cop, I do not warn them, i just smile thinking they are going to get what they deserve...
and do not take anything folks post on the forums too serious... sometimes they are just yanking your chain...
GOOD ONE!...................

Cops have gotten out of control, they used to serve US. Thats why they are called PUBLIC SERVANTS but now facing pay cuts do to the economy they must fulfill quotas pressed on to them by their superiors and some of them take this to a whole 'nother level.. I feel that if one of my fellow riders wants to speed even if its triple digits (He and I and everyone knows that not a good idea, but he knows what he's up against) then let him. Unless something really crazy happens he will be the only one harmed or affected by his decision (usually). Cops these days don't serve us anymore, they serve the man.

you can not debate an opinion, and that is all your last statement was...
and I of all people will defend your right to your opinion...
now if you want to list the facts upon which you base that opinion, we might have something...

There are too many situations that prove my point because it happens practically everyday and for me to sit here and lay them out for you I feel would be pointless, mainly because if you don't see it Already then you won't see it. The police, the government, our country is out of control, so much that we most likely will never get it back to how our forefathers intended it to be.
