cheap initial fee but 200-300 per track day...................killer.
I did a cost benfit analysis vs msr houston:msrhouston wins if you stay for 3yrs or more if you go to track one time a month. but if you go more than one 12 a yr msrhouston is better for 2 yrs.

HHR .............................................. MSRH
Inital 900 .............................................7000
Monthly 90 ......................................... 150
day 300(given weekend) ......................... 30

(390x12)+900 = 5580 yr 1 ........... (180x12)+7000 = 9160 yr1
(390x12) = 4680 yr 2 ................... (180x12) = 2160 yr2
10260 for 2 yr .......................... 11320 for 2 yr
4680 yr 3 ....................................... 2160 yr 3
14940 for 3 yr ........................... 13480 for 3 yr

Is this a Small track??? Not many turns. For 300? Outrageous.
I guess the track veterans could make a better call on that though.

Cresson small track is 1.7 miles. It seems on par w/ that one. I wouldn't get too hung up on the price thing. If a group organizes a track day it won't be that much. That's the price for cars and such. They probably wouldn't allow bikes anyway outside aschedued track event...

I've only been to MSRH so I really cant tell what a big track and a small track is. Just the fact that its in San Marcos makes it interesting to me.
A group event would probably have the lower price I guess. 300 bux is a little steep to me even by my track newb perspective.

Good post. But are you sure they won't allow bikes? I don't see why they wouldn't especially if they can get those type of fees and bikes don't tear up the track like cars do. I mean Houston does. San Marcus Huh? Sheesh can't they build one in San Antonio or Victoria? Sheesh, why does every track from Corpus have to be 3 plus hours away from us Corpus riders?

I do think the track fee will be less for track organizations though.

On these kind of membership deals, can 3-4 guy's go in together and buy one?
Split the cost 4 ways and it seems like it would be a killer deal.

I don't see why you couldn't depends on their guest policy like maybe you can only bring a guess soo often but that is a pretty large track day fee regardless unless it is cheaper for bikes.
