Was wondering..

Was wondering if there are any people with NSR50s and YXR100s or YSR50s or plain small cc bike owners that go to the Katy track often?

anyways, any of you all wanna go over there and have some fun some day? Kinda like 5-10 people just go for a couple of hours?

I heard you need a membership, and can then invite one person...

Any one?

The TMGP guys with memberships sometimes get together and head out there It's not too often though. I had a membership last year. 250/yr I think it's 300/yr now. You can have guests, but they can't ride unless they also have a membership. Unless something has changed recently? :dontknow:

Dude i pm`ed ya today, to call me..did you not get the PM

Anyways, i bought your teammates YXR100 and was wondering if getting the membership and going there every now and then would be a good idea?

How many times did you actully use the track besides race weekends? Did you put the $250 to good use?

Do you know how many visitors a member can take? (that can ride also?)

Nice! That bike was fun to ride!

I didn't. I didn't like driving an hour and didn't really have anybody that could go wth me when I wanted to go. There is usually NOBODY there during the week so hard crash = nobody to call 911. lol

The paperwork that comes with the membership says that ONLY MEMBERSHIP HOLDERS can ride. Kinda sucks, but I wasn't going to risk getting caught and ruining for the few other bike guys that go there. It's a kart track, a kart organization and those guys get priority use of the track.

The membership can be worth it if you can get out there often enough.

Did you just print out the form from the website fill it out and the postal mail it to them? Or you spoke to someone over the phone?

It says nothing on their website except on the form it says "Do not Fax!"

also on the tmgp site can you please post for someone to fix the "Register" option, i can't get it to resigter coz it keeps on saying, "that username is already taken, sorry!"

! :BangHead:

I remember talking to someone on the phone and he told me to just print it and mail it, so I did. Got my card thingy in the mail about 2 weeks later.

Ok, posted another msg over there. I also saw this post.

Quote:
Please note that Gulf Coast Kartway is CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE!!!!

We are in the middle of construction on the pit area and preparation for concrete work is being done for the new berms (curbing, of sorts) on the track. Consequently, the track is too dangerous for karting activities. Please, do not drive on the track until the track is reopened, which will be noted on the Homepage of www.racekarts.com and will be communicated by email. Thanks.

Best regards,
Mark

I hope they do the track expansion too!!! They have the plans posted inside the building at the track.
