Question Lonestar Rally 2011

This is my first year to go. What's some of the cool to do at the lonestar rally?

Can everyone actually be IN the parade, or is it only cool bikes?

Anyone can slide into the parade, it goes nonstop.

Last year I saw this guy who weighed about 350 lbs, his wife weighed about 250 lbs, they were riding a Sportster 883. The two of them weighed more than the bike. They looked pretty ridiculous.

I had a 90 year old TABC agent throw me against a wall because I said " TABC" as the officer who previously questioned me was walking away. Yes a stupid move, but hilarious nonetheless.

Pretty much only the cool bikes ridden by the cool kids.

GSXRs not allowed - besides, its your virgin trip - you can't be in the parade.

Seriously though - anyone can be in it. Knock yourself out. Just have your low speed skills down cold because its basically at 5mph and below, and yes, you look stupid duckwalking your ride at 5mph....

As far as the cool to do, well, theres all kinds of stuff you can buy, some cool vendors to visit, lots of at night, and lots of beer and good eats all day.

The moment he touched you he committed a crime. You should have had the arrested.

If you are not privileged to have a non-desirable bike like mine you may consider removing your license plate from your bike before you walk around. There was a rash of bike thefts that were blamed on being at the rally. They seemed to really like bikes with complete fairing sets (iirc).

It's a fun time, fried alligator on a stick is pretty good, usually a good crowd. Have fun.
