craigslist is the !!!! i posted up on there saying i wanted a motor and a guy in my old neighborhood about a mile up the road called me saying he wrecked his 02 750 last week and would sell me the motor. he said he wanted $1,500 at first but i pretty much told him to go hisself. he called back 5 minutes later and said $1K and my old motor. he said it only has 1,400 miles on the motor so its worth about $1K, maybe a little under. i think im gonna talk him down though. i know i could get one off ebay with around 10-15K miles for $600-700 but i would still have to pay about $200 for shipping and i dont even know what i'll be getting. if hes not bullshitting me and it seems like a clean motor, im gonna scoop it up. we'll see though. maybe i'll be on the road this weekend. still need a front rim and maybe a back so if any of you fellas hear of some around houston, lmk. be safe out there ya'll

i got most of my motor tore down. its deffinatly a spun bearing. i just need to buy a like a 24mm socket tomorrow so i can take the clutch basket off. if i can i might clean up the crank if its not too bad and slap some new bearings in it. idk. i need to get off into it a bit more. hopefully i'll get off early tomorrow and find out if im going to junk it and get another motor or not.
