I'm planning on getting one of those units that goes on the bars that makes a 2 way radio or cell phone hands free... I think my friends and I are gonna try to get some of the 2 way radio ones together, I'm hoping whatever we end up with will let me pipe in the ipod... as long as you keep the volume down its ok for long interstate trips but like in the city or driving agressively I say forget it. I don't even have a radio in my car....

I think that would encourage you to swerve through traffic more gracefully, if nothing else

I have some cheap Samsung earphones from walmart that hook around the top of your ear. They sound very good and fit snugly into the ear cavity in the helmet. I attach the Ipod onto the underside of the windshield so that I can use my left hand to work the controls. Just make sure that you don't have the cord tangle around anything, that way if you have an accident, the plug will pull out without getting stuck on anything.

bad idea. The rise and fall of the exhaust note is my music. I love the howling of the airbox at 11 grand on the tach!!
