Kawi Z750S Tail section swap and new paint.

I saw 91stunna's thread and I remembered I never posted pic's of my brothers Z750S that I worked on.

Here is how it used to look.

Kawi Z750S Tail section swap and new paint.

A little Kawasaki gathering.

DSC00020 1

Two eyesores on the bike is the passenger handles and the one piece seat. Overseas the bike came with the 03-04 636 tail section (which in my opinion, is one of the best tail sections to come on a bike) so I figured I could get it to fit somehow. So after buying all the parts, a little cutting on the sub-frame and a handful of custom brackets later I got the 636 tail section on.

The only problem is the tail section needed to be painted to match and the factory blue is a two stage paint which is expensive and hard to match. I suggested to just get the whole bike painted a similar blue which would be about the same price and easier. He thought about it for a couple days and asked "Why not paint it the same color as my truck?"

So here is the final result. 636 tail section and custom painted Chevy Avalanche burnt orange.

I wouldn't mind getting that tail section for mine. Looks great but I'm not crazy on that orange. Is that a Danmoto exhaust?

I know there can't be many Z750s on here.

You have a Z1000? My brother has an orange 04 Z1k back in Michigan too. I've rode it a couple of times, they're fun bikes.

We were talking about doing a 636 front fork and Z1000 headlight on the 750 also but he decided to ride it like this for awhile.

Yes, it's a Dan Moto exhaust. I wasn't very impressed with the product or his customer service but I guess you can't complain too much for the price.
