you know, with my "old" way of thinking... I just don't THINK in metrics, even though they are all around me...
see I was thinking he was saying liter and not just metric SYSTEM... so I was thinking 1000 cc bikes...and I do not have one of those...
and using his words... I can not think of any forum that would not be a metric forum... at least no forum other than my dog forum that I am on...and my little apbt is definately not metric... a yes, but metric NO.
and PoPo, I have 25% body fat, but it is old fat, so I am not sure I could be in your club, do you have a fat age limit?

Uh - dude - i never said I was gonna do a thing about it. I'm just offering up advice.

Backing down is not really in my nature. Ask around if you need confirmation.

1 litre = 1000cc

They're the same volume. Generally, however, litre is reserved for liquid volumes.

a "metric bike" is any foriegn bike. A bike made with metric-measured parts. However, its more specifically used to refer to bikes.

I read a comparisson article on the 1000cc bikes, and in the article it referred to them as the "litre" bikes... I guess that just stuck in my head...
so now when anyone is talking about bikes and use the term metric... I mistakenly just think litre bikes... but it seems that it is all just slang terms anyway...so I do not feel too bad...no rise in blood or bladder pressure...

I believe a liter-bike is slang for a 1000cc bike. Generally, they are metric bikes, as well. A 600cc bike is a 0.6 liter bike, etc.
