I think the definition Tim used was a very good one...
I have been riding for 47 years and a lot of folks think i am a good rider... but on track days I feel like I do not have a clue at times....and at other times I just feel like I suck...

What makes someone a "good rider" really depends on who it is that calls them "good".

Someone with 6 months of PP1 experience calling someone a "good rider",

versus someone like Keith Code calling them "good".
