Best race bike "overall" production bikes

Say production bikes with everything race but equal, say CBR600RR with all ohlins suspension CBR600F4i all ohlins suspension, R6 all ohlins suspension etc...

What is the best race bike "overall"... or at least what would your choice be from experince or knowledge

Question is way to vague..

But from riding different bikes (not much) i noticed, the R6 with an ohlins upgrade and the package would probably make the best 600cc I4 bike for the track.

As for liter bikes the GSXR1000 with the upgrades would win in the open class or 1000cc class.

As for minis, i'd go with a YSR50 with a 80 kit.

SV650s however is hands down the best lightweight twin class. ninja650 might be able to challenge it in a few more seasons..

its pretty much asking what type of boxers do you all like.. (personal preference)

Don't bother, opinions are like a-holes. Everyone has one and they're all different. Especially when it comes to the 'best'.

Any one of the late model 6's are more capable than most riders.Each has their own strong points.The most popular one's being raced are the r6 & gsxr,rr third & some kawi's-f4's are kind of rare.

CBR600RR = ZX6RR = R6 = GSXR600 = Triumph 675

It all comes down to who's sitting in the seat and riding it. Most of the things that will make one of those bikes "better" is all subjective. Different bikes feel better than others to different riders. The way a rider feels between his ears when he rides it means just about more than anything else...twocents

As long as your are held together with velcro, and can easily separate when the frame breaks between your legs and heads out in two (or more) directions while your cruising around a corner minding your own business!
:laughing9 :laughing9 :laughing9 :laughing9
gixxerbill, does velcro itch when you get sweaty?

If price isn't an issue, get this:

bimota tesi2d

The front swing arm allows trail breaking.
