trust me, its gonna get worse from here on out...

my grandma had a buick back when keyless entry first came out (like very early 90's I think) and they were on vacation, they parked in a grocery store and came out and freaked out cause all their camera gear and stuff they had hid under the seats was gone but nothing was smashed etc... then they checked the glovebox and found someone else registration and all that.
it was the same model, same color buick, and their keyless entry opened it.

and my friend had a 1969 jeep cj7 and the key and cylinder were so worn down we could start it with the nail file of a swiss army knife.
lol his dad used to take away his keys so we did that a lot. It didn't work for the hardtop doors but most of the time we left the doors off so that didn't matter so much.

I have had like 3 240sx's and I still have keys from each one and none of them have worked in other cars, including 2 of my friends that tried it too (their keys on my car and all 3 of mine on theirs) thats door locks AND ignition... and these were all 89-94 240's with really really high mileage (like the "youngest" one had 160000 and the highest 230,000). I was really surprised, I thought as worn out as those cyls have to be, and as crappy as old locks were, that we would get at least one that was the same.
