Mileage

Kinda curious as to what everyones approximate mileage is per month, street, not track, on the bike. Im wondering because I bought my new bike less than 2 months ago and I have already put almost 3000 miles on it. Is this way high? Average? Your thoughts. Thanks!

Had the bike since March, and have a little over 6,000 on it. Subtract the 2-2 1/2 months of it being in the shop for warranty work. . . So 6k in roughly 6 months.

My commute is only 8 miles one way. Sometimes I wish it was much longer though, especially in the last few days. They've been gorgeous.

I figured I average about 700 miles a month, sometimes much more and sometimes much less, depending on maintance outage, rain or frequency and length of weekend trips.

If I don't do any riding except Sunday............that is 700 miles a month if I ride every Sunday. I can't stand the bikes sitting there for more than a few days without dusting them off and going SOMEWHERE!!!

your time will come...when I had my first bike...I put 22k on in one season. That's like 6 months in Chicago. Anyhow, it's been 8k since February since down here in the deep south.
