Oh no! I can't believe that cop shot a ghetto thug kid! And he had such a bright and promising future ahead of him...as an armed car-jacker...pffft. I would have shot him as many times as I needed to.

Even at 15 you know the consequences of pointing a gun at someone.

My dad always said: 'Don't point a gun at it unless you want to kill it.'

exactly but doesn't say to cheer it on when someone claims a life under any circumstances. same as some crooks cheering a bank robber on after he kills people trying to escape.

let him have the car? yeah....if the situation was reversed, and it was one of the family members gettin their car jacked....they would be complaining about why the police didn't do anything about these criminals.....

they just mad because that's one less welfare check to collect from the state....and they're probably lookin to cash out on their son's death.....that's why there was lack of tears and emotions in their statement.

i say the cop did the right thing. the only thing he did wrong was not shoot the second suspect.

there are honestly some familys that just REALLY do not care about a member, they prolly never cared about where he ever was, when he came in the house, if they even let him, but when a situation arises that they can cash in on, "ohh ohh wait we cared about him"

If it was my family or Your family, I would have done the same thing to protect them. when I I saw this I was reminded of a situation a coworker is dealing with right now.
He was at his home in Kingwood and was fortunate enough to catch a 16yr. old kid breaking in his truck at 3am. He had the choice of taking his gun or a bat and he saw it was a kid and took the bat. He approached and made his presence known when the kid jumped out of the truck toward him he popped him in the head and it knocked him out. Police came filed report and all was thought to be over till the cop came back 3 days later to arrest my friend for agravated assult on a minor. Now he has already spent 5k just to stay out of jail and on attorneys fees. This kid stands to make money off my friend for defending himself and his property. The system is just so wrong sometimes.:BangHead:
What would you have done if it was you?

That's what almost everyone he has talked to has told him including one of the officers that came out.
