I started this thread becuase its the safty corner and weve all done stupid stuff and regretted it what are some of your stories?


Mine leaving HEB when i had my gs500 takin a 25mph turn at 60 and hitting the front brake in the turn i hit the curb and highsided came about 5 feet from being impaled on a survey stake and having to ride home with a dislocated shoulder....

One of mine was when i was on my dads r1 cruising with my buddy on his sv1000, and we decided to top out out.. well when we were hitting 170ish, we came across a gate and fence and lotsa barbed wire strung across the road..I hit it dead on and just ramped the R1 like it was a dirt bike and somehow stayed on.. when i touched back to earth at about 160, it got into a bad tank slapper...My friend went down and walked away from it

I came from dirt bikes to street so i wouldnt be breaking as many bones in the first place

the funny part is that my friend passed me up while he was flying off of his bike while i was still on the bike.

I remember when i first bought the cbr i was leaving downtown taking I-10 west i hit a pothole underneath 610 while riding with just my throttle hand and my body bounce and landed on the passenger seat didnt see the pothole becuase it was dark the scotts damper saved me
