Hyrodlocked engine

What exactly does this mean.

Does it mean that the engine turns over but wont start?
of that it wont crank over at all?


yea yea smart azzes, i know it means nothing good, but what exactly is it

You drive through high water and water gets sucked into your engine.
Pistons are still cranking.
Water doesn't compress, piston cannot fully extend it's travel.
Stuff bends, mechanical failure results.
Engine is now hydrolocked.

Something like that.

yup. could also happen from coolant entering the piston chamber as well

The motor is literally LOCKED by water (hydro). It won't even turn over. This can happen from ingesting water, a horribly blown headgasket, or a really really leaky injector. More often then not, its from ingesting water.

why do you say that?
it ran fine then i let it sit for a day. while i ordered parts for it. and now it
wouldnt start. checked all the fuses, all good. new battery, and fully charged, 12.5 volts. i pulled the coil and placed a screwdriver in it and placed against frame, no arc

If I remember correctly that R6 had a bunch of hacked into wiring.
Start checking the connections and tracing voltage point to point on the ignition circuit.
