I'm looking for a shop that can jet me carbs. Motor is a 97 gsxr 750.
A shop that will do good work and I will not have to go back too cause they didn't do it right the first time.

you'll get burned for that. boyo although i do agree. I'm not willing to pass up a good shop to go to a good shop. I spread the jelly.

Patrick and his crew have done a lot of work for me on both of my bikes.
Not only at the shop but hands on at the track.
Some times at costs too good to even post here.
I don't know of too many other shops around town willing to do this.

I'm dealing with my first warranty issue with Motorcycles Unlimited and so far it appears that this too will go without a hitch.

If it's not broken, why fix it.

a mechanic is not a tuner a tuner is a step further than a mechanic. A mechanic fixes what is wrong a tuner makes it run better but can fix what is wrong also.

ahh cmon. there is nothing wrong with a few happy customers referring their favorite shop. although i do kinda get the feeling that you are implying that a customer might not find a TUNER at Motorcycles Unlimited, only mechanics? i would hope that i am reading into that wrong. i have been known to do that.

hey tom.... i still have my shirts as well hahaha. that was funny stuff. :laughing6

nope never implied that have I? I was rolling my eyes on big henry riding your nuts into the sunset saying I got owned. :supergay

I'm a mechanic (UTI doesn't produce tuners ) My job day in and day out is working on trains, backhoes, loaders and other types of heavy equipment. I can work on bikes and stuff like that too but I can only replace parts find out what's wrong then replace parts to fix the problem. i don't have the know how to make things run better than they do stock. That's where a tuner comes in. A tuner is a mechanic with alot more of a understanding on how things work. That I HAVE come across in the houston area are Billy at wrw racing and Andy at metric motorcycles are the best i've come across and I've used pretty much everyone i have no affliations to either shop no special discounts are nothing. and I sure don't shove them down peoples throats at every turn on the boards. these two guys on the other hand are never on any boards so maybe tha'ts why people on here haven't heard so much about them. BUT Everytime you go to their shops they are full of bikes that should tell you something.

far as I'm concenred spread the jelly all the local shops could use some love. If you want to stick with one shop more power to you but when i find diffrent shops that all do a good job I'm spreading it around.
