My best friend was killed on his bike by a drunk driver May 22, 2010. The guy just got sentenced to 10 yrs with poss. of parole after 6.

Shoot someone in the face with a gun get the death penalty. Drink and then drive knowing your impaired, kill someone with your car, get 6 yrs. What a great system.

Hello, everyone. I apologize for this untimely thread revival, but this will be a one-time post.

I just found out about this last night through my family. My cousin used to live with the perpetrator of this horrible crime, and I can say without hesitation that she deserves to be punished to the absolute maximum extent of the law. Never once has she decently provided for her two children, choosing instead to become an "exotic dancer" () and spend all her income on booze and illegally obtained prescription medication. She is completely unfit for society and the key should be thrown away after they lock her up. Her kids will be better off with someone who resembles an actual mother.

My sincerest condolences go out to the victim's family. A loss like this is always tragic, but Roy seems to have been a truly good man, and it sickens me that the simple act of being on the road at the same time as this scumbag cost him his life.

It's sad the way that system works, happens everyday.

I had an Agg. Robbery case with a higher bail than she. Really it was theft of merchandise 100<

Mine was set at $50,000, 5k to be bailed out. This person killed someone, and got out on a 3k sign. smh

You shouldn't feel bad about giving us information about the driver. TBH it's much easier to hate her now.

RIP Roy - it's obvious who the better person was. Hopefully this will be the turning point of her life.
