New to Houston...sort of...

Hi! I'm Adam.

So like the title says, I'm kind of new around these parts. I've actually been here in Houston for about 4 years now but, only became a full time resident about 10 months ago.

I'm finding that Houston is actually a pretty cool place. Just needs to be about 20 degrees cooler consistently (I grew up in WI) and needs some elevation changes. Of course then again having my bike out in SC for the last 4 years may have spoiled me a little bit...

Now that its finally cooling off, I'm definitely looking forward to getting some more miles on my bike and meeting some of you hooligans!

Thank you all.

I live over in Humble, work over at IAH, and I ride (kind of a misnomer since I've only put like 300 miles on it this year) a '98 Honda VFR.

Oh yeah...Originally from Watertown, which is about half way between Milwaukee and Madison. I've also spent quite a bit of time in Oshkosh and Milwaukee.

Again, thank you all for the warm welcome. Can't wait to see you guys around.

Pics: Eh, not really. I have a few ones floating around but nothing special. Its just another red '98 VFR. The only thing unique about mine is the 2nd Look (I think thats the brand) two tone seat, and the rash scheme particular to my bike.

Indy: Oh, come on, why not?

Vegas: Huh...small world indeed.

Welcome Adam! Good seeing you on the ride 10-8-11. I grew up in California, and I miss the mountain roads too. Plus the good surf, good food, nice weather, and beach/ snow bunnies.
