I hope that his replacement is good. I am not opposed to change. If the American people wanted him gone it is time for him to go. We don't need a puppet for a replacement who will tuck their tail and run. If we do, you might as well go buy a scooter and a flack jacket. It will be hard to outrun terrorist on 50cc scooters. That is all we will be able to afford with gas prices through the roof.

I am willing to bet, the next person who "takes" over the Iraq crisis, whether it be a new secretary of defense, or new president, will be eating his/their words once they get in Bush's shoes. The issue is something that affects everybody. 9/11 was not meant for democrats, republicans, it was meant for americans ! meaning anyone who is a part of the united states of america. sure democrats are going to talk big from the sidelines, but once it's game time, i bet it will be different ! all bush did was give them an avenue to be seen and heard. and while we are speaking about the issue, what would democrats have done differently, after 9/11 ? gone over to iraq and played a game of beach volleyball to decide whether or not terrorism (including Sadamm H.'s presence in the world) would have us fearing for our lives? let me guess since the hijacking days, were people not afraid to fly? of course. let me guess the democrats are going to reassure me "they" have the solution to terrorism? hmmmmmmm, bet not.

:laughing6 LMAO..still relating the war on terrorism and Iraq (of course there are terrorists there now but they were not there beforehand). Amazing!

Well, now we do get to see whether the Dems were just talking big or actually had a game plan. The next few months should be interesting...

On another note: Looks like a flip-flop to me...

"You're doing a superb job. You are a strong secretary of defense, and our nation owes you a debt of gratitude." - President Bush to Rumsfeld (before election results)

"The timing is right for new leadership at the Pentagon," -President George W. Bush 11.09.06

Basically he got up there, forced to step down and said - "Hey, you pea brains are too stupid to know whats really going on"

too bad the only people that cant understand whats goin on are the same only people who believe this administrations bullshit propoganda war.
