I've been stung twice in he neck. I don't blame the bees I was traveling at highbspeeds and rear ended them.

Switch had a wasp in his leathers once. Made it the whole session. It just flew off thankfuly.

I've been stung by mosquitoes many a time but never a bee. I stopped leaving my gear (helmet, jacket, gloves) in the garage because I don't want to be surprised with a bee or a spider living inside while riding.

I had my face shield open one night driving down 2004. Friggin giant dragonfly hit me in face perfectly. Carapace actually drew blood the way it hit me... Probably first.

^^^^^ What's it like to hit a turtle? And more curious - how???
I was following a guy that was riding an old school Honda 400 4 back before the wheels were mag. All spokes. I saw a small bird fly in from the right about a foot off the ground - And an explosion of feathers come out the left . . . POOOOOF

I got stung by a bee on my neck once at MSRH. I was on the carrousel when I felt something hit my neck. At first I thought it was a rock so I kept going and it didnt start to sting till after I passed the exit of the track, so I had to slow down and do yet another lap while grabbing my neck. I didnt know it was a bee till I got to the pits and I unzipped my leathers when my friend saw it still in there and slapped it off. I ran to the showers and sprayed some water on my neck fearing it would swell, but lucky for me it didnt. The pain eventually went away and I continued my day without a problem

on a trip to florida my buddy managed to catch a wasp (still live) in his jacket while moving at about 65... stung him 3 or 4 times before he managed to kill it. it was pretty wild to see him just start flailing at his back trying to kill it, and maintain conrol of the bike while pulling over as fast as possible, then jumping off the bike and stripping off the jacket and shirt as fast as he could...

just glad it wasn't me.

When I first started riding my CBR I was going down the beltway access road without wearing gloves and had a bee sting my left hand in the tender area right between my ring and middle fingers. It was a mile or so before I had a safe place to pull over as the burning got worse. Once pulled over it was just the stinger and the sack of it was still pumping into my hand. Operating the clutch was not a fun job at that time. All bullshit aside, it took over a week for the normal feeling to return and numbness to leave my fingers in my left hand.

I once ran over most of a bloated opossum. Think I'd rather have been stung.
