That's what I thought too.

Like Therky said, you're thinking of a Yorkie. I personally like Daschunds. . . they come in long haired versions too.

Get a Lab. Very adaptable, loyal, and very loving. www.labrescue.com My ex had two Yorkies and I thought I'd go mental. Little dogs tend to be very inbred which produces lots of sad ailments you may not see for years. As with hillbillies, inbreeding dosen't produce very smart dogs either. If you have an active lifestyle, a more sporting dog would be more suitable. Think of it like shopping for a bike with four legs. Speed isn't important!!!

He's correct but Labs and Goldens can get big. When I got my Golden my GF could hold him in her hands completely, now I can stand him up and he's taller than her!! hahaha (5'3'')

Get her a "lifestyle accessory" like a Bichon Frise, Chihuahua (sp?), or [gawd forbid] a Pug. All the girly girls I know absolutely LOVE those dogs. Personally, I think my Pit-Lab would eat a dog like that in one bite...it would be fun to watch.
