Refinancing?

Has anyone refinanced their moto loan? If so, give me some recommendations. I'm currently at 11% 60 mo. I'm gonna see if my bank will give me a better rate first.

if all depends on the current rate, used or new...of course your credit score.

4 years ago, i bought a used car with 790 credit score, i still got 7.5 %.........

Ah. Yeah, I figure I'll probably get it at least as bad as you had it. I am starting off with a loan from the CU instead of bank or dealership, but, still...

Is that trade-in, retail, or loan value?

Check with your parents to see if they already have a CU, might help you out with consideration on the loan....

Why do credit unions have such better rates? I just applied with Chase and got a 4.32% for a used vehicle. Also is there really anyway to check your credit score without having to put in credit card info, or is it standard to have to enter it and the cancel it after you get the score?
